Best shampoo and conditioner for all natural hair....?

Since going natural, the texture of my hair has changed pretty dramatically; from fine and thin, to thick and kinky. I usually use Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo, and condition with his The Detangler, and that worked great when my hair was relaxed, but I was just wondering if there was a shampoo and conditioner that would be even more beneficial to my hair in the state it's in now?

Btw...When I say natural, I just mean no relaxer, because my hair is color-treated too, if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

I want my natural hair colour back, help me please?!?

hey, i die my hair brown about three months ago now i am growing roots and i really want my natural hair colour back, which was really light brown, oh and i dont wanna die it again. and if i get it stripped, how much and where a salon or hairdresser, help me please?

I want my natural hair colour back, help me please?!?

You can't strip the natural hair color back, Because of the way hair color works, you cannot simply 閳ユ笩trip off your hair color閳?and get to the natural color. What you will end up with is a white color, which the hair stylist then dyes the hair again to get a even color.

One option you have is to use semi-permanent hair color that is as close in shade to your natural color as possible to cover up your new growth while your natural color grows in. The semi-permanent color usually lasts for 8-12 shampoos and fades gradually, which will allow you to monitor your hair閳ユ獨 progress in growing out the permanent hair color.

Growing natural hair color out?

How long does it take? Will I be close to having all my natural hair color back in 8 months?

Growing natural hair color out?

Well always depends on how long your hair is.

When I started doing that years ago after having about 1.5 inches of natural hair grown out I just went to a hair salon so they could match my hair colour and dyed the whole thing. That way as it grows out you won't look funny.

It will probably take longer than 8 months though.

Growing natural hair color out?

I dyed mine back close to its natural colour so it didn't notice too much as it grew out.

Growing natural hair color out?

Hair grows an average of 5-6" a year. Some people's grow faster, some slower. You can figure it out from there as to how long your hair is and how much root is now showing.

Growing natural hair color out?

everybody's hair grows at a different rate

why not just go to the salon and get your hair matched up to your roots?

Growing natural hair color out?

Depends how long your hair is. Possible a couple of years.

Growing natural hair color out?

Hair grows about a half inch per month.

Growing natural hair color out?

Most hair can grow a maximum of 6 inches a year, so probably not. It may take a couple years depending on how long your hair is.

Growing natural hair color out?

Try reverse frosting. It helps hide roots while hair is growing out and still provides highlights to help it not look so dull.

If roots are dark w/lighter ends, frost w/darker color to match natural haircolor.

If roots are light w/dark ends, frost w/lighter color to match natural haircolor.

My natural hair colour is bleach blonde, and I've dyed it black alot, will it grow back to the

Hey, so my natural hair colour is bleach blonde and I've dyed it black and dark brown so many times, and I was wondering will it grow back darker? or is it possible to go back to the way it was without dying it? And if it is possible, what should I do to get it bleach blonde again?

My natural hair colour is bleach blonde, and I've dyed it black alot, will it grow back to the same colour?

I would think that it would grow back its natural color as long as you stop dying it, because the chemicals that they use kill the hair and make it dry and nasty. But I hope you can have beautiful hair like you want!!!!

My natural hair colour is bleach blonde, and I've dyed it black alot, will it grow back to the same colour?

Use poster paint with yellow glitter. You will look just like Barbie.

My natural hair colour is bleach blonde, and I've dyed it black alot, will it grow back to the same colour?

If you just keep washing it, it will go back to your original color. I wish my hair was bleach blonde. Dying your hair is very bad for it. It makes it loose its shine

My natural hair colour is bleach blonde, and I've dyed it black alot, will it grow back to the same colour?

my friends aunt was blonde until she dyed it black when she was younger. she now has to keep dying it back blonde cause the black wont go away completely. so i assume you're going to have to the same problem too.

My natural hair colour is bleach blonde, and I've dyed it black alot, will it grow back to the same colour?

Dye it your supposed natural color, but first go to a salon and see if you can get the black removed

My natural hair colour is bleach blonde, and I've dyed it black alot, will it grow back to the same colour?

This isn't the first time I've seen this question and I'm shocked. You DYED your hair. When you grow NEW hair, it will be your NATURAL color. Dye cannot affect as-yet-nonexistent hair. What may happen is your roots will come in more of an ash color which is probably how they were before, but you didn't notice because the length of the hair was lighter.

Oh and FYI there's no way to get black dye out completely so you're stuck with it.

My natural hair colour is bleach blonde, and I've dyed it black alot, will it grow back to the same colour?

unless your going to stop dying your hair and let the regrowth take over there is no other way to do it but to use peroxide and ammonia for that you must go to a salon they can either give you a bleach bath and lightener or you can always try blonde foils this will take time to get the colour right and is expensive but its the only way sorry for bad news! good luck!!

How can i get back my natural hair color?

I have been coloring since i was 13, now im 21! I tried most colors, such as red, black various shades of brown and off course highlights! Since i have curly hair i have tried to relax it, i tried it 3 times, and each time it left my hair dry and still wavey to curly! Its time to give my hair a break and bring it back to natural, the problem is I cant remember my natural hair color.

How can i get back my natural hair color?

Hello, The best way to find out your natural color is to let it grow without coloring for at least six to eight weeks. Then have a hairstylist look at the color of the regrowth. Then choose a color that is at least one shade lighter. Hair is always darker at the scalp.

Then use a "Demi"-permanent color on your hair as close to your natural hair as possible. But I would caution you, Do not use a color that is Ash. Like Ask Brown or Ash Blonde.( Your hair could have a greenish look if you do) Use a Neutral or a Golden Brown or Blonde. Condition, Condition, Condition. Re-apply the color when the color fades, every two months probably. But do not leave it on more than five to ten minutes. If you hair is dry it will absorb too much of the color and get too dark. Condition, Condition, Condition!!

And do not relax your hair during this, it is very damaging to colored hair. Curls are beautiful, use a Curling Brush to soften the curl, if your hair is long, use the 1 1/4" Curling Brush if you can find it. Sally's might have one, if not, use the 1 inch brush. Condition, Condition, Condition. Use a leave-in conditioner like Infusium after every shampoo. Use a deep conditioner at least once a month or more.

Do not use a color from the store. If you can't afford to go to a good hairstylist, Go to a Sally's Beauty Suppy and buy a "Demi-color" and mix with 10 Volume Cream Peroxide. Mix equal parts, like 2 oz. of color and 2oz of peroxide. Leave on ten minutes, shampoo and Condition, Condition, Condition. Good Luck, Maureen

How can i get back my natural hair color?

Hello again, Didn't add, if your hair is blonde, when you use the Demi color of neutal or gold base, you need to add a very small amount of a red orange based (copper) color to it. As one of the answers said, you need to replace primary colors into the hair if you want a natural color. Maureen Report It

How can i get back my natural hair color?

go to a saloon and tell them

put a permanent hair colour

and do consult a hair expert

How can i get back my natural hair color?

If you've had it dyed, the only thing you can do is to let it grow out. Your roots will soon remind you of your natural colour !

How can i get back my natural hair color?

well i would wait until my roots show a little bit...this will tell you what your natural hair color is and its also easier for you when you go to pick out the hair dye color since you can actually see what color your hair is

How can i get back my natural hair color?

Good Luck! It takes time. You can color it but it will always bleed back out. The best way is to cut it short and let it grow back out trimming it often as to get more of the color off of the ends.

How can i get back my natural hair color?

how about just waiting for it to fully grow.. that'd be around a year or more to be sure

How can i get back my natural hair color?

Let it grow

How can i get back my natural hair color?

how can u not remember ur natural hair color?.

ask ur parents, they'll know and then dye it back?

How can i get back my natural hair color?

Ok, the obvious answer is to let it go. But if you want to help it along then wash your hair in Caromile shampoo. It helps restore natural colour.

Hope this helps...

Is it bad if I have little natural oil in my hair?

Everytime when I shower, my hair looks extremely frizzy. My hair can only be smooth enough when I wake up the next morning. I dislike wetting my hair since it will loose the oils. So in return I have to buy synthetic oils for m hair. Does any one know how to take care of their natural hair oils?? Any good natural or hair care pridcut to keep the hair not-frizzy when getting it wet??

Is it bad if I have little natural oil in my hair?

A little natural oil is very good for your hair. Curly hair tends to have less oil but the good side is you can leave it unwashed for up to a week or more. Always use conditioner and try a leave in conditioner. Something that worked wonders for me was called an aerosol wax. The brand name is "Unite" its a finishing wax. Try it, I know you'll love it. just spray and run fingers through hair. Good luck!

Is it bad if I have little natural oil in my hair?

no l don`t think lts bad

Has it been hard to accept your natural hair, without a perm or a weave??? its been difficult for me

with the eurocentric beauty standards, with long hair, light skin, blonde hair, blue eyes, etc. its been super difficult to love myself. i used to think i could just cut my hair off, and let it go natural without a thought. i thought i was not ashamed of my hair. i find it so hard with stares and comments, its really difficult to be a woman with an afro. i know its healthy for my hair and its growing, but its rough, when people look at me and stuff. like i am some kind of freak. it does hurt, and i do feel stares. i thought of seeing a psychologist about my own self hate, and my issues with it.

i almost permed last week, because it was so tough to love my bushy afro hair, here is what it looks like on my myspace http://www.myspace.com/thug_miss

its just hard. does anybody else have these hardships. sometimes i wish i was a white girl with straight hair. i admitt. sometimes i wish i was white, with long flowing hair.

i know i should be proud to be black, white, and native american.

Has it been hard to accept your natural hair, without a perm or a weave??? its been difficult for me...?

i dont know if this would help

i like your color ... bautiful skin

%26amp; your hair ... i like you curls

"i would be proud if i were you"

"we are what we see ourselves not what people see in us"

i had this problem when i had acne ,my selfesteem was low

i blamed it for every single bad thing that happend to me, you know i feel that people look at me this way because of the acne and because im black , natural hair .............. but finally i realize people like me for who i am not for what i look like.

other thing is not all pretty girls are blond

dont you like Tayra,Byounce,Janet Jackson...........

my hair is natural for about one year it never been more healthy .i strighten it with flat iron occasionally :-) sometimes i like it stright

Has it been hard to accept your natural hair, without a perm or a weave??? its been difficult for me...?

i love your hair texture, sometimes i wish my hair was that texture so my shake and gos can have a define curl. I never had a problem with my natural hair because I never cared about what people thought of me. I get looks %26amp; comments too but it's mostly from black people who feel as though me wearing my hair natural is degrading to myself. My mom is natural too but she keeps her hair pressed, she even says i need to do something with my hair when i want to just wear my fro, my father especially has a problem with it because he believes in that long hair means feminity. You just have to deal with your problems the best way you know how, if you feel getting help is the best way then i encourage you to do so.

Has it been hard to accept your natural hair, without a perm or a weave??? its been difficult for me...?

Wow! You have absolutely wonderful hair!

Well as the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side. People who have straight hair will want to have wavy or curly hair thinking that straight hair is limp and vice versa.

I have naturally wavy hair and if i want to feel different, i will go for a different kind of hir cut. either bob or simply let it grow and play around with different hair styles.

The thing is i get bored of the same look and try to get a different look by experimenting with hair cuts and styles. I have many bad hair days but i never once hated my hair or wished i had straight hair or curly hair.

Changing your hair chemically might damage your hair and cause a change in texture. so be creative and make the best of your hair by playing around with hair styles and assessories. It works.
