Strait, wavy, curly or natural hair?

Sounds like a cool style.

Strait, wavy, curly or natural hair?

Curly haired girls look more natural and wilder. My guy friends really like girl with curly, wavy hair.

Strait, wavy, curly or natural hair?

I cant really say because it depends on what shape your face is..

Strait, wavy, curly or natural hair?

mix it up. i wore my hair naturally straight every day last year. i now started wearing it curly. change like every couple days or so!

Going back to my natural hair?

So I dyed it a couple times in a futile attempt to get it light brown, which of course just made it look brassy. I want it back to its natural medium brown color and never want to dye it again. However, I had to dye it to its natural color to cover up the bad dye jobs. My question is how long should it take before I'm seeing my true hair color (at least a couple inches o it)? I don't want to dye it longer than I have to.

Going back to my natural hair?

Just keep dying the roots with permanent hair color the real color of your hair, keep up with your hair cuts to keep the bottom healthy, and eventually you will be able to stop dying altogether. The problem is you have to wait until your hair grows out. Don't panic, hair grows fast in the summer and if you keep up with your trims or cuts and just color the roots ( to prevent damage to the rest of your hair) you will be ok. Do not give up. Buy a couple of bottles or boxes of color when it goes on sale and look forward to dying the roots. Know that when you do it is another step toward new growth and almost the end of a lesson learned.

Going back to my natural hair?

give it a year to fully grow so that when you start trimming it, your natural color will what's left.

Going back to my natural hair?

Depends on how quick your hair grows but you should start to see your natural colour within a couple of weeks.

Going back to my natural hair?

about six months for 2 inches of growth normally.

Going back to my natural hair?

About an inch a month. Maybe a little less.

For myself.

Going back to my natural hair?

You should start seeing your natural hair color in a few months. I've been dying my hair since I was 11 and now I'm 25. By 6-7 months you should have more than just a couple of inches showing. Trim your hair every 6-8 weeks, for some reason this helps your hair grow faster that and make sure you're taking multivitamins if you want it faster than that.

Going back to my natural hair?

Hair grows 1/4 to 1/2 inch in a month. Depending on how long you wear your hair, it could look fairly naturally your own in about a year.

Iwant my natural hair color back!!!!?

Please i need help, i use to be a blode for a while. and now i'm a really dark burnette. and i really want my natural hair color back so what is the quickest way of doing that? shold i try to match it up and color it at home. or go to a saloon. a really don't know what to do! HELP!!!

Iwant my natural hair color back!!!!?

You didn't mention what your natural color is, but I assume its lighter than the color you are currently. You cant go lighter by coloring over hair that has already been colored. You will have to have a hairdresser remove some of that color with a color extractor-NOT BLEACH, its too damaging- then recolor with the shade of hair that you have naturally. This could fade a bit so use a professional color retention shampoo. You may need to repeat coloring in 1-3 months but if you keep using the good shampoo and conditioner, you shouldn't need to repeat the coloring again and your lovely natural shade will be yours once more.

Iwant my natural hair color back!!!!?

Definitely go to a salon because you could end up messing it up pretty bad.

Iwant my natural hair color back!!!!?

DO NOT try and dye your hair color back yourself. That's the quickest way to hate your hair even more. Go to a salon, tell the stylist your conundrum, and she should be able to give you solutions. It will probably take longer than normal, as he/she will have to take out the dark brown in order to dye your hair blonde.

Iwant my natural hair color back!!!!?

You're best bet is to go to a salon, cuz they not only can match %26amp; dye it, but they can also strip the old color thats left out. alot of over-the-counter strippers/dyes are harsher than they use in salons. Also, they'll know if it needs to be treated to reverse any damage that may have been done. good luck!

Iwant my natural hair color back!!!!?

I am a natural blonde and i decided to go dark burgandy with a wash out color with my second pregnancy it washed out to a gross strawberry blonde and I hated it. If you go to a beauty supply store they can help you with the right stuff and purchase a color stripper this should take you down to a almost white color then I went and purchased the color closest to my natural and dyed it back. Now I had to dye it twice to get it back to the natural color and have never colored my hair sense. Remember between stripping it and coloring it you need to give it time to renourish itself this is very hard on your hair so use lots of conditioners and wait the time period it says or you can really fry your hair.

Iwant my natural hair color back!!!!?

GO TO A PROFESSIONAL SALON! DON'T TAKE ANY CHANCES ON MESSING IT UP!

How do I go from fading red hair to my natural colour?

I have spent years dyeing my (naturally mousey blond) hair quite dark shades of red (mahogany, and plum). I decided some months ago that enough was enough and got the red hair covered with a medium brown, plus some highlights to help blend my lighter natural hair as it grew at the root. My regrowth is a couple of inches long now, and I still have some traces of auburn-ish hair throughout, especially at the ends of my hair.

Is it possible to cover up this haircolour once and for all with a natural shade? Will it take the colour, or would I have to lighten all over first?

How do I go from fading red hair to my natural colour?

Wait until your hair grows out enough to get all those ends cut off and still be able to style it to your liking.

In the meantime you should try temporary rinses that will match the ENDS of your hair. The darker ends will NOT accept a light temporary color.

That way your hair will be a bit more uniform in color, until you get a haircut.

How do I go from fading red hair to my natural colour?

there is a product the will strip your hair of all colour you can get it at a hairdressing wholesalers.

then you can start again and put what ever colour you like in

How do I go from fading red hair to my natural colour?

You can go to 5 different salons and get 5 different answers. your best bet is to trim off the ends to minimalize the red as much as possible. Or you can just keep highlighting the red little by little until it is gone. I go to Sally's beauty supplies, they have products that washout after about 6 shappoos, this way you don't have a permanant commitment. I love it.

How do ya grow natural hair long quick? It's grown a lot since I went natural, but I want it lo

I've been natural now for 5.5 months and I have very curly, kinda kinky hair. Please help! I'm in college, so if you know of cheap products that are readily accessible and work really well, I would really appreciate your help! Thanks! GOD Bless!

How do ya grow natural hair long quick? It's grown a lot since I went natural, but I want it longer!?

Currently i have long hair and have been learning alot so...

i do not have a relaxer i stopped getting them 5 years ago ( and i've only have 3 relaxers in my life time so this is all natural) so i can show you how to take care of hair without a relaxer. These are the some of the basics to growing long hair.

1. The shampoo, unfortunately many black women are using shampoos with alcohol and petroleum jelly. step away from them. Use Aveda's shampoo.. specifically the name is Brilliant...go to the website. I use it, i love it, it mouisterizes my hair and the products are natural. i have also heard that KeraCare is good.

2. Okay, step two condition it and then it is time to comb it out, Do not use a brush on you hair when it is wet,,it will hate you for it then break off in revenge. Put your your sections use a big tooth comb, to untangle it.

3. Do a hot oil treatment atleast once a month with extra virgin olive oil...repeat..EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil..not the regular stuff. ( I have also heard about protein treatments which can be very beneficial) unfortunately i have yet to take this step however my hair is doing great.

4. Okay on the daily basis you need to pay close attention to your hair...i recommend conditioning your scalp(3-4 times a week) and your ends(everyday) so that they will not get dry and unhealthy Petroleum jellly and mineral oil are weapons of mass destruction ( in other words do not use grease) it does so much harm to your hair it cannot be all explained here. So you ask what do I use...well natural oils grapeseed oil ( use it for hair it deflects heat so it is good for flat iron users like us)

jojoba oil(i use this for my scalp), extra virgin olive oil, sesame oil, emu oil, coconut oil...all these natural oils and more love you..i promise.I also use Aveda's Brilliant ( the name of the brand) emollient for my ends.

5. Next..if you want your hair straight but still be natural it is time to get a freakin good flat iron.,i have the Chi..it does the job but I recommend getting the Sedu because of the good reviews. make sure to protect your hair..i have so thermal protector from Aveda. When flat ironing your hair do not let the iron stay on your hair for too long, just 1-2 quick swipes.

6. If you have a relaxer ( i have heard that Mizani and Affirm are the best relaxers) don't continue to relaxer all your hair everytime you go to the salon..just the new growth and try to stretch relaxers as long as possible.

7. You do not need to trim your hair everytime you go to the salon maybe every 3 to 6 months.

8. Wrap your hair in a satin or silk scarf to prevent damage before you go to bed.

9. Eat healthy, drink lots of water,

10 take multivitamins, and fish oil pills you can get from GNC.

Follow these steps and life will be good..the best part about flat iron (which i do once a week or every two weeks not everday since it will kill your hair) is that it is not stringy but thick and healthy, yet straight and light enough to blow in the wind.

ummm...i dont know.. whatever vitamins are good for hair growth i guess... look it up on a health website or something...

my hair does something retarded when i grow it out...

once it gets to a certain point, it just stops growing.....

it stops doing anything really....so i cut it...

lol

How do ya grow natural hair long quick? It's grown a lot since I went natural, but I want it longer!?

Organic Root Stimulator Temple Balm

The Dr. Miracle's and Organic Root Stimulator line of hair care products are good.

How do ya grow natural hair long quick? It's grown a lot since I went natural, but I want it longer!?

Took about seven years for my hair to grow to my waist.

How do ya grow natural hair long quick? It's grown a lot since I went natural, but I want it longer!?

i no this may sound stupid but the more you trim your hair the quicker it will grow!!!if u trim it every 6-8weeks 4 a while u'l notice the difference...

How do ya grow natural hair long quick? It's grown a lot since I went natural, but I want it longer!?

Trimming your hair has no effect on it growing quicker. Trimming the ENDS of your hair wont effect the ROOTS which is where the hair grows from. I wont explain how to take care of it, as there is already a very informative post, but thats all you can do. Although, I believe there is a vitamin called 'Skin Hair and Nails' which is meant to be good for hair growth. But anyway, trimming keeps hair in good condition, but does not affect hair growth.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the

Ive been dying it every time i see enough roots growing in often when I see about 1/4 of an inch or 1/0 inch of my hair growing in. Even though i dye it often i keep it healthy by deep conditioning it almost every time i wash it and only blow-dry it once or twice a month. are there other alternatives of getting my natural hair color back or do I just have to wait until all of it grows out? Your help will be deeply appreciated. ;)

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

dye it back to as close to your natural color as you can so as it grows in, the roots won't be so bad.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

stop dying it

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

Try using a semi permanent that will eventually wash out. It will mask it for a while, but wash out...

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

JUST LET IT GROW OUT, USE SOME HI LITES TO BLEND IN WHILE GROWING OUT, USE A WASH OUT COLOR SHADE TO BLEND WHILE YOUR WAITING FOR IT TO GO OUT, IF YOU WANT TO TRIM, JUST KEEP TRIMING UNTIL ALL OF THE OLD SHADE IS OFF.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

You should dye it your natural color so youll never have to dye it again.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

Sorry, but you'll have to let it grow out. I did the same thing for 5 years, except I dyed it every color of the rainbow. You could have the color stripped, but it's very damaging and costly. It took 2 years for my natural hair color to grow out to a decent length (past the shoulders for me), because even with the care you've taken, the dying still takes it's toll and your hair will take longer to grow. But once you get it back, it will be healthier than ever, and you can cut the dyed ends off and your hair will grow really fast after that.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

high lights/low lights/streaks/whatever in a shade close to your natural color. Then let it grow.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

Use peanut oil to strip out the color. You just saturate your hair with the peanut oil. Comb through from scalp to ends. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse. Shampoo twice. Blow dry. Repeat steps several times until all of the hair coloring has been stripped!

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

You have many options at this point. You could low-light it, this is putting back in your natural color with foils and then it will grow out more naturally and gradually. Or, you could use a semi-permanent color to put over your whole head. The only problem with going this route is that you have to MAKE SURE this is a SEMI permanent color, which means it will wash out without leaving that line of demarkation at the scalp. If it leaves that line it is NOT semi permanent. Good Luck!!

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

The next time you see a substantial outgrowth, about 1/2 in. dye the rest of your hair a color as close to your natural color as you can %26amp; then do not dye it any more. Just let it grow %26amp; as it grows ,keep getting the ends trimmed to promote faster growth.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

Try to even the hair color by coloring it to a shade very similar to your natural hair tone, have a good hair cut, and in almost no time your natural hair color will be reality.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

Stop coloring it,and cut often.Eventually you will have your own hair color back.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

you either stop dying it

or......dye it back to your regular color so that the roots will not show when they grow back. I'd recomend that since well I hate roots!

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

umm...i think you just stop using the hair dye stuff. : )

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

just let it grow out, yes your roots will show, but personally, when i highlight my hair and my roots start to show, its not going to take that long for your natural hair to come back.

How can I let my natural hair color to grow out if ive been dying my hair every other month for the past 4 yrs

your best bet is to head to the salon...Let your hair grow out enough so that they can see the color of your natural hair.....a couple of inches is what we really prefer. they will then look in the crown of you head to determine your natural shade. If you have been coloring your hair lighter than it naturally is...your best bet would be to do high and low lights....more lows than highs, or if you are not afraid of a shock.... you can do all over color, and then add in some highlights....remember if you have been going lighter the new darker color will fade. It all depends on what you are ready for and what your stylist thinks is best for your hair and this also depends on the condition your hair is in.

What are some good products to use on natural hair to make it grow faster?

Last year, I stopped in a local Hair Salon in my hometown to get my hair cut for my 21st birthday. Before visiting the salon my hair had been natural for three years. So, the lady gives me a relaxer called, "Nairobi" after i had informed her before sitting in her salon chair that, Any other relaxer besides Affirm would eventually take my hair out. So, shortly after visiting the salon big clumps of my hair begin to fall out. Eventually the damage got so bad that, I had no choice but to cut the remainder of what little hair I did have left off. So, now i look like a man and from the description of myself this is not a good time for me. Can someone please help, If you or someone you know have experienced something like this, Could you please tell me what products helped his/her hair grow back healthier and faster?

I always preach the wonders of prenatal vitamins. My doctor says they're perfect for all women, regardless of whether you're pregnant or not. They make your hair and nails grow, as well as make both shinier and stronger. You can get prescription brands from your OB/GYN, but they're usually pretty expensive (i.e. $1/day with insurance). Because of the price, I like to get the Target brand. The only thing the store brand prenatal vitamins are usually missing is the extra boost of folic acid.
