im transitioning from perm to natural hair im currently getting braids right now but i dont want to cut all my hair off i've been getting braids in my hair for about six months what do i do

Yes the only way is to grow it out. If you keep it in braids while you grow it out it will be ok and tjhen when it is long enough for you you can donate it cause they do except permed hair or you can get it cut slowly and grow it out that way.

you can also wait until it all grows back, but the endsz will still be permed, because chemicals don't come out. :]

you don't have to chop it all at once. but you should cut it every now and then just because if you don't cut it at all. it will do more harm than good
