I want to get micros or some type of braids because in Oct I had to get half my hair shaved due to surgery.. and I was wondering how long should my natural hair be in order to have braids put in?

Doesn't really matter you just need to have hair on your head. Not tOOOO short just enough so the hairstylist can do your hair about 1-3 inches is enough.
