I want my natural hair color back?

I have naturally dark brown hair and I've dyed it burgandy. Now it has faded into a ugly ugly orange. Whats the best way to make the color go away leaving my natural hair?

That is an easy fix. go to the beauty supply, buy a color remover, NOT bleach. follow the directions on the box, only apply to the red/colored area, and only leave it on until you see most of the red fading away.....

Then choose a color from the beauty supply.....NOT the drug store....... choose it 1 shade lighter than you really want (it will process darker because of the damage in your hair) I would recommend a semi permenant, it is so much more gentle on your hair, and you can apply more often and keep it fresh and healthy looking, without the damage, I color mine with a semi permenant every 4-6 weeks and it is super shiny and really healthy.

If you decide to us ea permenant color, you should not do it more than every 12 weeks or so, and in that time it can and will fade and look bad.

the best way is just to let it grow back.i kno it might look the best for a while but its the best way to grow it out healthily.

there are some products u buy to make ur hair darker or to return it to the regular color. so if you go 2 the pharmacy or something, you'll find it there cuz thats what i did when i didnt like the highlights they put in my hair. it

try to die it back but here's what you should do if your natural hair is

black:get the darkest color of black you can

blonde:get the brightest blonde

brown:(depends on if your hair is bright or dark now)bright-get a dark shade of brown bright-get a bright color

red:get the dark red

Go to a hairdresser and have it dyed back to dark brown, they know what they're doing a lot better than a lay man,

i am almost done being in your position....go to the salon and have them lightly strip the coppery color out and die it a brown VERY CLOSE TO YOUR NATURAL COLOR....go to color specialist...then let it grow .....the dyed part, that used to be Burgundy..that is now copper..that will be brown...will fade, but it wont look as bad as the coppery orange....you will still have 2 toned hair, but not as extreme....mine is almost all the way done growing out and it was soo worth it....just be patient....REALLY PATIENT....... good luck.........

Baby shampoo. No, seriously. The ph of baby shampoo reacts differently to colored adult hair than baby's hair. I was sick of my color and washed it with baby shampoo twice in the shower for a couple days. My hair was right back to it's regular color.

It wont just go away, but what you can do is dye it as close as possible to your natural color then you can let it grow out.

If you can afford it, go to a professional stylist who can restore the color in your hair. Then let it grow out and when it's long enough, cut off the dyed hair. Or you can gradually trim the dyed growth off with regular haircuts.

I wouldn't try dyeing it myself again, it may fall out!

go to a hair salon and get the color stripped out of your hair, or cut it and grow it out.

I have a few questions first? In order to get any orange from burgandy fade you would have had to lighten be for the new tone is introduced. Was that the process ? If so you would need a new tone of ash or neutral. Dark to dark medium brown will bring you closer to your natural color. If you used lighter level of the same two tones they will place you in the dark medium to med dark brown. P.S. only used a glaze or semi color for this process. note :Copper will warm it up %26amp; you don't wont that.
