Last year, I stopped in a local Hair Salon in my hometown to get my hair cut for my 21st birthday. Before visiting the salon my hair had been natural for three years. So, the lady gives me a relaxer called, "Nairobi" after i had informed her before sitting in her salon chair that, Any other relaxer besides Affirm would eventually take my hair out. So, shortly after visiting the salon big clumps of my hair begin to fall out. Eventually the damage got so bad that, I had no choice but to cut the remainder of what little hair I did have left off. So, now i look like a man and from the description of myself this is not a good time for me. Can someone please help, If you or someone you know have experienced something like this, Could you please tell me what products helped his/her hair grow back healthier and faster?

I always preach the wonders of prenatal vitamins. My doctor says they're perfect for all women, regardless of whether you're pregnant or not. They make your hair and nails grow, as well as make both shinier and stronger. You can get prescription brands from your OB/GYN, but they're usually pretty expensive (i.e. $1/day with insurance). Because of the price, I like to get the Target brand. The only thing the store brand prenatal vitamins are usually missing is the extra boost of folic acid.
