I have never relaxed/permed my hair so it's been natural from day one. I also have no desire to at all since it's pretty manageable without all of the chemicals. Anyway I was wondering whether any of you guys in my same situation or those of you coming back to natural hair knew of any websites or new styles I could try out. I'm quite tired of putting it in plaits (using extensions) all the time, I don't want to wear a weave and I've kinda grown out of the canerow phase, plus I feel my heads a bit of a weird shape lol. The all out afro thing really isn't practical in cold, rainy London either. Any suggestions or websites?

My daughter does some mad styles to her hair.

She has the front in a quiff, and either bunches or small plaits at the sides and back.

Also the front of her hair plaited and the back loose. (my favourite)

Black Hair magazine and Essence mag r totally for sistahs! alot of websites like black hair mag and hair mag have tips for black natural hair. y dont u sew some hair in? thats where u do cornrows and then get a needle and sew the hair over it . thats really popular out here in texas or even a cute drawstring ponytail. u could str8en ur hair and then curl it in shirley temple curls! good luck girl sometimes a perm is best!
