My natural color is a dark brown, right now my hair is a light brown. I want my natural hair color back because my roots are showing and I don't want to dye it again. I was wondering if there was a home remedy to strip hair, i.e.- I've heard stuff about some kind of lemon juice mixture, etc;

I really want my natural color back, and I don't want to go to the salon b/c I'm a college student with a WEAK budget. Very weak. lol. Please help?!

uhm dont use lemon juice that lightens your hair. since you had dye in your hair and its lighter now i dont think you can make it ''back to your regular color''

I know you want a home remedy, but please take advice from someone who has tried it all and then paid a fortune to get it fixed. If you cannot afford a salon, try a beauty school - they are much cheaper - sometimes not much more than the products at the drug store and they have teachers watching and checking to make sure everything is done right.

if lemon juice %26amp; vinegar doesnt work i think your only option is dying it back dark brown with one of the hair dies from the pharmacies that cost like 7 dollars and then you wont have to worry about darker roots because it will be the same color %26amp; you want have to die it again =]

as a stylist, my suggestion is %26lt;Don't strip your hair, it's horrible for your hair.

Here's what you do, (since your budget is slim, go to a beauty college and ask for someone who about to graduate and who knows color really well. (2. have them match your roots and then color your previsously colored hair to match.) You will never get a "perfect' match, but you won't have to get a retouch, as your natural color will continue to grow and every time you get a trim, you'll be trimming the colored hair.
