okayyy so i heard about natural ways to dye ur hair such as lemon or coffee but does it work on black hair will it mke black hair lighter. i tried doing it with lemon but it made no difference. FYI my hair is jet black

I HAVE BEEN DOING HAIR FOR CLOSE TO 30 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER FOUND ANYTHING NATURAL TO BREAK THE BONDS THAT BLACK HAIR HAS TO MAKE IT LIGHTER OTHER THAN PROFESSIONAL HAIR COLOR.

Jet black hair it quite hard, how about henna, it is used in most middle eastern countries as a lightener.

Rhubarb root boiled in water, then used as a rinse. It contains oxalic acid, that's supposed to lighten the hair.

Probably not, i would adise you to get it done properly. Im sorry but if your hair is really dark it might not take so you would have to get your hairdresser to test your hair and see how it will take.

the only way to lighten black hair is with bleach and if your hair IS naturally black please leave it a lone i think black hair looks stunning on it own...
