Are there any all natural hair coloring products out there besides henna?

my mom is severely allergic to hair dye, she can use Indian henna but its turning her hair more red then anything else. Is there any natural products that would work to make her hair black which is her natural hair color before the white hairs came. She has tried those color depositing shampoos but those don閳ユ獩 seem to really work. Any help would be much appreciated!

Your mom is fortunate enough to have you asking these questions for her.

She can keep on doing henna, no problem there, but sometimes and over time the henna tends to set in very red for some people. In order to maintain brown tones she would need to add amla powder or indigo to her mixture of henna, to get it that desired color.

But for more black tones she would use the indigo alone and that would darken her hair naturally. Indigo and henna and amla are all natural plants. Indigo and Henna are the leaves and amla is a fruit. They all come from India and they are great to use.

Have your mom drop me an email or even yourself at info@hennasooq.com if you have more questions and if you need to get this product.

Hope this helps

Well this is kind of temporary but it darkens your hair...

Boil black coffee and let it cool off a bit and then rinse the hair in the black coffee thats good until you wash it. Theres also sage tea that darkens the hair but its temporary also.

You can put crushed black coffee beans in the conditioner and a tiny bit in the shampoo. By tiny I mean a two pinches.

God Bless and Good LUck.

Try this: Add 3 tablespoons of Rosemary to 1 cup of boiling water. Let this cool off overnight and in a place where it won't be disturbed. Strain. Use as a final rinse. Enhances curly hair, really makes the hair shiny and smells nice, too.

Or, try what the Native Americans are said to have done for their gray hair: Add 4 tablespoons of dried sage to 1 cup boiling water and let steep overnight. Combine with 1 cup of commercial tea and work into hair every night until desired color is reached.

I admit that I haven't tried these, because I like my brown hair, however, I got these from a book I have trusted for over 10 years. It even has recipes for how to make shampoo!
