There are 2 products available at salons that are excellent. The brands are Swartzcophf and Rusk. These work by reversing the oxidation process of dyes.

After the product is applied , it will remove all the dark dye. You will then have to have the stylist correct the blonde that will be underneath.

They're fairly gentle products. Ask your stylist to recommend a professional shampoo and conitioner for follow-up.

Don't try to remove the color any other way. You will end up with fried, orange hair. Don't even let a stylist remove it using bleach.

*Color will not lift color. If you use an all over lighter shade, you'll get "hot roots". That's when your natural hair at the roots works as it should and the black stays black.

it would probabally go to brown, not from your natural colour, but with the layers of black and the bleached-blond hair, it would probably go to brown because of the colour blending, and it doesn't really matter which kind, just kep in mind that to most expensive isnt always the best!!

I would recommend giving your hair a rest after all that or see a professional. That's alot of processing. If you use a color removal i think it would turn orangy, be careful, in the long run u will end up paying more anyone for corrective color, been there done that...

Hello, I am a cosmetologist and black is one of the only colors that is next to impossible to get out of your hair. Since your hair had been processed several times I would highly suggest leaving it alone. If you try to bleach your hair to get it back blond it will turn a horrible almost red and sometimes green or ash. Your hair will also more than likely hydrolyze which means be burnt off and fall out. Black hair color usually has to be cut out. I know this from personal experience and have had several people in my shop make this same mistake. Please it will ruin your hair. There is no color remover. It has to be bleached out which is horrible on your hair especially since you are going from one extreme to another.

Sorry to break it too you but it sounds like a problem that you're going to have to take to a professional. If you're trying to remove permanent black you're going to have to get someone to decolorize it to the level of color that you desire and then put a toner over it.

Getting naturally dark hair blonde is a challenge in and of itself but lifting permanent black to blonde is an even bigger challenge.

Trust me this is NOT something you should do on your own. Sallys has permanent hair color remover if you still want to try on your own but they've told me that its not ideal for removing permanent black hair color. After you get the process done you're going to have to invest in really good professional products in order to put back moisture that the very harsh chemicals have zapped.

Black hair color is VERY difficult to remove that is why its not adviseable to do it not to mention its ususally not flattering on someone who doesn't have natuarlly dark level 1-3 hair (VERY dark brown almost black).

but from the sounds of things will all the chemicals you've done in the past 2 years its probably sounds like you're going to have to grow out the color.

Next time you color your hair you should at the very least go int for a consultation so that you can atleast get soudn professional advise on what can and cannot work for you.

I've done this. i have natural dark brown hair, dyed it blonde and then dyed it black several times, and now im in the process of going blonde again. if you want to go blonde again it does take alot of work.

anyway, in order to do it, GO TO YOUR HAIRDRESSER, never do this bit at home, go get your hair stripped. it is pricey, but its the best way. this will make your hair very dry and send it a browny/red shade which is patchy, for the time being you should use a semi-perminant dye to even out the color. after wards make sure you condition your hair regually. use an intesive conditioning treatment 2-3 times a week. after the semi-perminant dye has faded, and your hair has stopped being dry start adding high lights or use a pre-lightening treatment. if your hair color still has dark patches once the semi has washed out, i suggest using t/gel shampoo which contains tar extract which is known to fade color pigments. make sure you carry on with the intensive conditioning treatments.

to complete your blonde look, once your hair is light enough(and possibly ginger, yes you'll have to put up with it, even though i tend to use those dyes which last about 10 washes to disguise it) go back to the salon and they should be able to sort it out and get it to a nice blonde color, providing that your hair is not too dry already.

dont worry you're hair shouldnt fall out due to over processing!

Don't use hair dye remover it will damage your hair! See professional stylist to dye your hair again. If price is an issue start saving or have a friend help you with an at home kit available at your local beauty supply/ pharmacy.

To keep your dark tone but get brown/ dark auburn effect use semi permanent. To go lighter your hair has to be permanently dyed. Note its important to read and follow all instructions in the at home kit

When dying black hair blonde the box must contain a booster(its a powder) this ingredient is add to the activator to stripe your hair from black to blonde. Try loreal texture and tones.
