Natural hair different color to eyebrows??

OK, my natural hair colour is dark brown with red highlights, but i have jet black eye brows and it makes my hair colour look unnatural, people have asked what colour i dye my hair, which i have to explain to them, i don't dye it, it's natural.

So i was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if having different colour hair to eyebrows is a common thing?

Don't change them! I also have dark brown hair and black eyebrows, it's normal! Most people with dark brown hair have this. All i can say is black eyebrows are very striking and add to beauty...so if i were you i would not change them

they're on separate genes. eyebrows are naturally supposed to be two steps darker than your hair color, but not in a different color family. i strongly recomend getting them professionally lightened. it will help bring out your eyes and complement your skintone as opposed to overpowering your eyes.

I think that it isn't a common thing because most people have same hair color with their eyebrow color. Try to dye your eyebrow so that the color will be the same with your hair.

I have this thankfully as I'm a redhead and cant imagine having red eyebrows!!! Come to think of it dont think I've ever seen anyone iwth red eyebrows! Mine are brown and you would think my hair was dyed if it wasnt for the fact that a natural red hair dye seems difficult to achieve. You can always tell when someone is a fake redhead.

I just died my hair red when my natural colour is light brown and my brows are pretty much black. I just fill in with an auburn pencil and it looks perfect. I wouldn't dye my brows either.

I have seen beauty experts on t.v. recommend bleaching your eyebrows if they are too drastic for your hair color and overwhelm your face. It doesn't turn them blonde, but lightens them a little. Use facial bleach from the store, mix and leave on 10 min. If you don't like the result you can always darken with a pencil or eye shadow until they return to normal.

It's probably as common as a guy having a mustache a different color than his head hair. It happens.

If you want to confuse them, get some eyebrow coloring and do your eyebrows occasionally with black. It won't look one bit different, but when asked about your hair, you can truthfully say "No, I just do my eyebrows." :-)

You easily and very inexpensively have you eyebrows slightly lightened in salon. I have very dark hair and really like a lighter look. That means I must also color my brows, not a big deal. Because they are so short you never see a hard grow out line.
